The price of a school meal is £2.40. If your child is having a school dinner each day please send £12.00 with your child on a Monday morning in an envelope clearly marked with your child’s name and class teacher.
If you pay by cheque please make it payable to East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
The school sends menus out termly and offers a salad/sandwich bar daily.
Parents are welcome to view a full list of allergens for all meals produced by the school kitchen. This can be arranged via the school office.
Universal Free School Meals
All pupils in reception, year 1 and year 2 are entitled to a free hot school meal daily.
In addition to the above free school meals, you child may be entitled to a free school meal through the pupil premium grant.
Your child may be able to get free school meals if you get any of the following:
-Income-based Jobseeker’s Allowance
-Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
-Support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
-The guaranteed element of Pension Credit
-Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
-Working Tax Credit run-on – paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
-Universal Credit – if you apply on or after 1 April 2018 your household income must be less than £7,400 a year (after tax and not including any benefits you get)
Children who get paid these benefits directly, instead of through a parent or guardian, can also get free school meals.

Some pupils choose to bring their own packed lunch to school. Please click below for guidance on keeping packed lunches healthy. Pupils are not allowed fizzy drinks, sweets or chocolate bars in school.
