Report by Abbie & Olivia (Year 5)

This morning over 50 visitors arrived in the school hall ready for our Macmillan Coffee Morning.

There was a huge selection of foods and drinks laying on the tables just waiting to be chosen including Cornflake buns, Buns, Ginger bread men, Orange and mint creams, Chocolate Flapjacks, Scones, Coffee and Tea.

When asked why she came one parent replied “I came to support Macmillan”. As she was picking out a snack we asked another parent and she replied “I came to support both and I hope it is an appropriate answer”. And yet another peckish woman replied “I have come to support the school”. The most popular reason for coming was to support was the Macmillan Cancer.

It was lovely to see variety of ages ranging from Grandmas to a baby girl who was only 2 weeks old! The grand total raised was £143. 93!
