Today the pupils made Christingles. We learnt these facts:
The orange represents the world.
The red ribbon blood and love of Christ
The candle represents Jesus, light of the world
The 4 seasons represented by cocktail sticks, arranged in orange like North, South, East and West
The sweets represent the good things in our lives, family, food & shelter.
Christingle originates from the word ‘Christ’
Money raised at the church service will be given to The Children’s Society
