Each week we will be focusing on, and learning more about, a composer. This week it is Gustav Holst, he is best known for his orchestral suite The Planets, although he also composed a large number of other works across a range of genres.

The pupils and staff have their own ideas about the what Holst is trying to convey through his music – the office ladies could imagine Gladiators fighting or aliens landing! What do you see when you listen to it?
