Thank you to everyone who has supported the many fundraising endeavors this term. Year 5 have been raising funds towards transport costs for their residential trip by holding a chocolate tombola and raffling a knitted bunny which was won by Tom in Year 5, (thanks to Emillie’s Grandma for her creative skills). Their grand total to date is £110.
Additionally we completed the Sport Mile last week, £512.35 sponsorship has been collected which will be shared between the charity and the school council’s playground shelter fund. Chloe (Year 4) raised the largest amount of £56, great work!
Raising money for charity is a very important way for the pupils to develop their community awareness and British Values.
