Pupils in year 1 and 2 are enjoying huge successes in their phonics lessons. They are working hard to learn new sounds and most importantly to use these when they read or write. At phase 5 pupils enjoy playing games and building silly sentences whilst at phase 6 they learn about word strings, grammar and punctuation. Here are just a few images to show them at work.
