We have been delighted at the positive response from the pupils after we introduced them to Mathletics. Covering all areas of Numeracy, Mathletics is an online, differentiated resource that will be used in class as well as at home. Pupils can play ‘Live’ against their peers around the world (in a safe environment) or challenge their friends! Teachers also have the option to set tasks and adjust challenge levels, as well as track progress and engagement. Pupils are rewarded with points or credits which are used to purchase clothes or backgrounds for their avatar.
We will be running weekly competitions such as ‘Class with the highest accuracy level on Live Mathletics’ & individuals will be rewarded with certificates & recognition in assembly for reaching given milestones.
