I’m sure that you are all desperate to know how our investigation went! All groups tested the ramps and found out that the flat wood surface made the car travel a greater distance. The woolly surface prevented the car from travelling very far because it slowed the wheels down and got caught on the underneath. We discussed how it felt to ride a bike or scooter across rough ground and everyone agreed that it wasn’t a pleasant ride. Surface definitely affects speed, safety and comfort!
