Year 1 hosted a Stay and Read morning. There were a number of different reading activities around the classroom as well as the reading corner, bug club on the computer and iPad and phonics computer games. The children (and parents) loved getting involved in the different activities and it was fantastic for the parents to see the children in their learning environment.
The children all had fantastic fun and they used the morning to write some super pieces of Big Write later that day.
Miss Ellis and Year 1 will be hosting another Stay and Read or Maths before the end of term! A massive thank you to all those who came along, hope you had fun!
